Scottish Ambulance Services
The Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) plays a vital role in collaboration with Falkirk Community Planning Partnership. As areas primary provider of emergency medical services, SAS works closely with local authorities, health boards and other partners to ensure that communities receive high-quality and responsive emergency care.
As a Community Planning Partner, SAS is involved in developing and implementing plans and strategies that address local health needs and promote community well-being. This includes the genuine collaboration with other agencies to provide preventative services, such as community-based health programs, and responding to emergency situations, such as natural disasters and pandemics.
Through its partnerships and collaborations, SAS will contribute to a coordinated and effective approach to Falkirk community planning and emergency response, helping to build stronger and more resilient communities across the area and we are looking forward to making a real difference and making things happen for our communities.
